Ramírez
Daniella Ramírez is the most decorated emerging female voice in South Texas music right now — and she's only just getting started. Growing up in McAllen and attending McAllen High School, her mother Barbara Cavazos recognized her daughter's gift at four years old when she could hold a tune while cleaning the house. That instinct proved prophetic.
By her sophomore year, Daniella had won the Grand Champion National Title of "Best in the U.S. Mariachi Vocalist" at the Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza — one of the most prestigious competitions in mariachi. That victory launched an elite trajectory: opening for Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán across the U.S. and gracing the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
In 2024, she swept the Tejano Mundial Awards, winning Best Female Vocalist and Mariachi Song of the Year for "Anda Vuela y Vete" and "No Sabes de Mujeres." These back-to-back awards cemented her status as the Valley's premier female voice in regional Mexican and Tejano music.
Then came the move that changed everything. Daniella became the first artist signed to Blue Mariachi Productions — the label founded by Grammy Award-winning guitarist Chris Pérez (of Selena y Los Dinos) and Robert "Bobbo" Gómez (Kumbia Kings). Her debut single "Nuevo Capítulo," released March 13, 2026, blends modern Tejano and Norteño with '90s electro synth in a track that feels both deeply rooted and unmistakably fresh. Chris Pérez plays on every track. The debut EP is on the way. The RGV's next chapter starts here.
Daniella is not just signed to a label — she is the founding artist of one of the most exciting new ventures in South Texas music. Blue Mariachi Productions was founded by Grammy Award-winning guitarist Chris Pérez, best known as the lead guitarist of Selena y Los Dinos, alongside Robert "Bobbo" Gómez of the legendary Kumbia Kings.
Chris Pérez doesn't just produce Daniella's music — he plays on every track. His signature guitar work is woven into her debut single and every song on her forthcoming EP, creating a sonic connection to South Texas music royalty that is impossible to replicate.
